Elisa Leon

Student Services Specialist

Elisa began with ROC in late 2022 but has been supporting formerly incarcerated students on college campuses for almost 10 years now. While not formerly incarcerated herself, Elisa has experienced the impacts of the (in)justice system through familial ties which further fueled her passion for disrupting intersectional inequalities that students, particularly students of color, may face. Being a first generation, low-income college student with immigrant parents and struggling to find support on a college campus herself, Elisa hopes to bring clarity and understanding to students who may face several barriers in their way.

Outside of her work at ROC, Elisa enjoys spending time with June and Yeti (her furry, whiskered sons), reading books and binging tv shows.
